'Suta' is a traditional Bihar unit for makhana size. 1 Suta = 3.17mm diameter. Higher Suta = larger, fluffier seeds and higher value. 4-Suta is medium (everyday use), 5-Suta is large (retail/premium), and 6-Suta is extra-large (export premium and luxury).

Our makhana is naturally grown without synthetic pesticides in Bihar's freshwater ponds. We provide lab test reports confirming pesticide residue levels well below international standards. Certified organic makhana is available as a special order.

Raw makhana: 12 months. Roasted makhana: 9 months. Flavoured makhana: 6–9 months. Makhana powder: 12 months. All packed in nitrogen-flushed, food-grade packaging to maximise shelf life during international transit.

We provide: Phytosanitary Certificate, Fumigation Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Lab Test Report (moisture, aflatoxin, pesticide residue), FSSAI Compliance Certificate, Commercial Invoice, and Packing List. Additional certificates required by your country's food import authority can also be arranged.

Sea freight (FCL/LCL) for bulk container orders — most cost-effective for 1+ tonne orders. Air freight via DHL or FedEx for samples and urgent shipments. We work with trusted freight forwarders and provide full tracking from Indian port to destination.

We offer FOB (Free On Board) from Mumbai, Chennai, or Kolkata, and CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) to most international destinations. Ex-Works from our Bihar facility is also available for buyers with their own freight arrangements.
